Our race start is the same at Westminster…but parking is different! Please park at the Ball Parks on the south side of Westminster City Park and walk around the lake to our start. Do NOT park at the old location – we might again lose our permit!

From US-36:
- Exit Hwy 36 at Sheridan Ave.
- Go north on Sheridan to 104th Ave
- turn LEFT on 104th Ave
- turn right at W 105th Ave
Parking is immediately in front of you.
Simply walk around the little lake to the north and you will see the start.
From I-25:
- From I-25, at exit 221, west on 104th Ave. (3.5 miles) to Sheridan Blvd.
- Continue on W 104th Ave past Sheridan.
- Turn Right on W 105th Ave.

A quick question (as we prepare for a fall marathon in Maine). What is the running surface at Westminster City Park?

Hi, Steve. The trail is approximately 40% concrete bike path and 60% crushed gravel trail. It’s hard packed and easy to run on. There are some gentle rolling hills, and it is fairly exposed, so don’t expect lots of shade. We have plenty of aid stations to help out. I hope that answers your question!

is the 20 mile race series price $ 45 up front then $ 20 oer race?
HI, Deena. The $45 covers all 3 races. The $20 price is the price for an individual race. I hope that makes this more clear – I’ll look at the page later and try to clean it up!

I just moved to Colorado from Atlanta and am excited to be running at this altitude! 🙂 I couldn’t find any info on signing up for this. Do I have to be a member of RMRR to participate in this race? Can I register on site right before the race? Thanks for your help!

Hi, Emily. We’d love to have you join us! Nonmembers are always welcome at our races. Our non-member fee is $10 for our Trophy Series races, and you can sign up on race day. Just show up 45 minutes or so before race time so we can get you taken care of!

The answer is no, we can’t allow dogs. Our insurance through Road Runners Clubs of America doesn’t let us permit dogs or jogging strollers. My dog doesn’t like the rule either….
