October brought us a chilly start for the October Trophy Series race at Cottonwood Park in Parker. Kinda light turnout, too, and I’m guessing the weather was a factor.
The Cherry Creek Trail was filled with lovely changing fall colors, and that helped make 10 miles go a little faster, we hope. The cool weather certainly helped with speedy times.
Thanks to race firectors Bob Basse and Eric Greene for doing such a great job of race setup and to our volunteers for making it all work. Thanks, too, to everyone for parking outside the neighborhood as we requested. I think we did a great job of keeping our impact low!
