As happens every year, several Road Runners made the pilgrimage to Boston to run the world’s oldest annual marathon on Patriot’s Day. While a nor’eastern made the 2007 race a wet and wild affair, the weather for this year’s marathon was almost perfect.
Club members and their official times (with apologies to anyone I’ve missed):
Tim Gentry: 3:10:16
Bonnie Keefe: 3:42:55
Laurie Phenix: 4:05:36
Larry Mudron: 4:05:03
Tim Wolfe: 3:27:11
Ken Soule: 2:53:11
Bill O’Dell: 3:50:11
I asked some RMRR members to comment on this year’s race. (Don’t miss Bill O’Dell’s story of his special marathon below!) If anyone else would like to add a few words about this or any other race, send them to me at rmrrnewsletter@yahoo.com.
