September 2015 Trophy Series – Trailhead Park – Results!

Friends, we had a great day on Saturday for our 8M race at Platte River Trailhead Park in Thornton. We had John Franzen the Mizuno rep out to demo some shoes, and a lovely morning for running!

Eric Greene was the fast male, and Renee Wheelock ran first for the women. Michael Hopkins finished first in the TS race, with Rob Sanchez and Steve Bennett following. Michael Blanchard was our sole racewalker…so he wins! And in the 5k, Igor Kantor won for the women, and Noah Turbyfill won on the mens side.

August 2015 Trophy Series and BBQ at DeKoevend Park – in July: Results!

What a lovely evening for our August Trophy Series race and cookout/potluck at deKoevend Park in Centennial. This 5k run on the Highline Canal is one of our favorite races – nice course, nice location, and fantastic food afterwards.

The new location worked out great – much nicer facilities, more light, and a better course to run on. Nice!

We had lots of great food – burgers, hot dogs, tamales, chicken, salads…very nice.

Thanks to Ric Robinette for taking time to mark the new course, and to all the volunteers who helped our run go smoothly.

Bible Park – June 2015 Results!

June means Bible Park and PANCAKES, and we had a great morning for it. After all the rain, we had a lovely Sunday morning for the race. And after everyone also had a wonderful breakfast thanks to Scott Newman’s parents preparing some great pancakes. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped us have a great race and a fun post-race meal.

The July race is on Sunday July 12 at Stone House Park – at 2M, it’s our shortest race of the year. We’ll have ice cream or some other exciting food after as well, so plan on joining us!
