January Trophy Series – 10k and 5k at Platte River Trailhead Park

January means a brisk 10k run at Platte River Trailhead Park! Weather is usually decent, with sun and temps in the 30s at race time. Let’s hope Ma Nature comes through again!

We will have both the 10k Trophy Series race and a 5k option as well. Come get your new year started with a great run!

Race Day Details

Date: Sunday January 4
Time: 9am start. Show up at least 45 miniutes early to get your tag and warm up. Don’t make the volunteers wait for you – they want to run, too!
Course: race runs on the Clear Creek and South Platte concrete bike paths.
Course on Strava: https://www.strava.com/segments/19629677
Location: Platte River Trailhead Park in Denver near 88th and Colorado.
Parking: Plenty of parking at the park.

Race directors Ric Robinette and Michael Hopkins will be looking for running and non-running volunteers, so come help out!

RESULTS: December 2018 at Wash Park!

Our RMRR December Trophy Series at Wash Park in Denver was chilly but nice! We had close to 100 runners and racewalkers, and they all enjoyed great running weather and a lovely finish to the RMRR running year.

Before you go looking…you won’t find them here, but final 2018 year end results are coming soon!

Thanks to our race directors Deb and Dave Cunningham, and thanks to all the volunteers who helped out. We had people setting up, cheering, taking pictures…all the things we need for a great race. We also had some great snacks at the end courtesy of both the club and of the several runners who brought treats from home. Thanks, Friends! And NO thanks, squirrels who tried to run off with the Cheetos. That is so selfish!

December 2, 2018 – Last TS of the Year at Wash Park!

The RMRR December Trophy Series is at Wash Park in Denver at 9am Sunday December 2. It’s our favorite way to finish the year! Come out and join us to run the 4.5 mile course around the park and then have some hot chocolate afterwards! Want to make the day a little more special? Think about bringing a small plate of your favorite holiday cookies or snacks and sharing with us all. We’ll enjoy them after the face and finish off 2018 with our running friends!

Race Day Details

Course and Distance	4.5m – two laps of the Wash Park ring road. Miles will be marked.

November 2018 9M at Prairie Gateway Park – Results!

We had fab weather again for our November race at Prairie Gateway Park in Commerce City. The RDs and volunteers did a great job of marking the course, and the cool sunny day was great for some good run times.
