December 2023 Trophy Series 4.5M

December brings RMRR back to Denver’s Washington Park, one of our favorite courses.  We’ll all run a 4.5M course that loops around the park twice.  Looks like we’ll have a nice warm December day!!!  In any event, it will be better than a few years ago when it was just above zero with a 20-mph wind!

 

Race Day Details

Date:   Sunday December 3rd
Time 9 am start.  Show up at least 1 hour early to get your tag and warm up. We will have volunteers helping you to find your tag.
Course:  Race runs 2 laps on the paved road around Wash Park.
Location and Parking:  park on the east side of the park near Mississippi and Franklin.

October 2023 Trophy Series – Sand Creek Trail in Aurora

 

  • Come join us for either a 12 km or a 5 km race in Aurora at the Star K Ranch.

  • Race will be held Sunday October 1st at 8:30 am
  • October is always beautiful, please come and join us for a great race!!!!

5Km will start later. Approximately 8:50 am


Location = Star K Ranch in Aurora. It is located at 16002 E. Smith Rd., Aurora, CO 80011

November 2023 Trophy Series – 15Km and 5Km at Prairie Gateway Park

  • November sees RMRR running at Prairie Gateway Park in Commerce City. 
  • Our 15Km Trophy Series and 5Km races will start at 9 am on Sunday, Nov 5th. 
  • The 5 km race will start at 9:30 am.
  • This is our next to last race for the year, and a great opportunity for people to improve their Trophy Series scores.  
  • We run on a relatively flat and fast packed gravel trail – good surface for comfortable running and some faster times!

Two important timing things to remember:

  1. Our November race starts at 9 am.
  2. Daylight Savings Time begins at 2am before our race.  Set your clock back the night before…or just come early to sign in and help.  Either one is ok!
  3. One more thing…in case you missed it, the race starts at 9 am!  And set your clock back!

Time:   9 am start for the 15 km, 9:30 am start for the 5 km.  Show up at least 45 minutes early to get your tag and warm up.  Don’t make the volunteers wait for you – they want to run, too!
Course:  race runs on the Prairie Gateway trails and to the north on the Arsenal border trail.

August 2023 Trophy Series – deKoevend Park

Join us on Friday August 4th at 6:30 pm for the August Trophy Series race and picnic at deKoevend Park in Centennial.  This year our friends with the Colorado Masters will be joining us again for a great race and a fun post-race picnic!! We will be providing hamburgers, hot dogs, soda, and seltzer. We ask that you bring your own pot-luck picnic fare. We will be running this race with our usual mass start for the August race.
