Hi, friends. The last race of the year, and a much nicer day than last year. 133 runners, including 12 kids from Brown Elementary, turned out on a great morning for running. Thanks to directors Lisa and Keith Champeau for a well-run race. Here are our results (year end results coming soon). We got lots of nice photos, too.

October gave us more nice weather for us to try another new course at Twin Lakes. This course had some curves, tunnels, and even a bit of a water hazard for fun. We had roughly 80 runners and walkers; Jeff Young brought out his Planned Pethood Posse team, and those are some fast kids! If you’re interested, check out some of the photos.

Friends, RMRR once again will host an aid station for the Denver Marathon! The race is on Sunday, October 17, and we’re responsible for the 21.5 mile station at 1st and Logan. We’ll need lots of volunteers–the DM team says we need 35 people! 5000 marathoners are signed up, so it will be busy. We’ll be working between roughly 7a and 12p.
One rule I’m aware of: Parents, your kids can join us if they’re at least 10, and helpers 10 – 14 years old MUST have their parents fill out the online form and sign the waiver that will come in the mail/email.
