RMRR 2020 May Virtual Fun Race – Send Your Results!

We had over 50 members participate in our April 4M virtual run. That is fantastic – way to go, everyone! Now it’s time to up our game for May.

We’re doing the same for our May race, and giving you the opportunity to run our virtual race of either 5M or 5k – your call! And we have some fab prizes this time. You could be the proud winner of this lovely hat by winning the 5M race! Or submit the best picture and win an amazing gift certificate to somewhere we haven’t figured out yet. It likely won’t be something you would anticipate from a running club…but who knows.

Participation Details

Date: any time from Friday May 1 to Sunday May 10.
Time: whenever you want to start. No registration, no pressure…run whenever suits your fancy!
Course: any 5 mile or 5k course that’s safe and run-worthy
Location: like we said, wherever you desire!
Make sure you submit your run by the end of the day Sunday May 10!!

Remember, we said “results don’t count toward the Trophy Series, but they DO establish your mastery over other runners and our current situation, so bragging is allowed.” So, Leslie Mitchell, as our winner, you can brag up a storm! Leslie, Will Belovitz, and Carmen Kitts were our top three finishers. Jayme Brindle was our fast female, and Eric Greene the fast male.

May Trophy Series – Stapleton Central Park

May takes us to Stapleton Central park and a 5 mile and 5k race. Don’t forget – May means another 8am start, so don’t be late!

May also usually brings us fine weather, so let’s hope for a grand day and that we can get back to racing!

Race Day Details

Date: Sunday May 3
Time: 8am start. Show up at least 45 minutes early to get your tag and warm up. Don’t make the volunteers wait for you – they want to run, too!
Course: race runs on concrete bike paths through the park.
