Marathon Training Series

Dates for RMRR’s Marathon Training Series  2010

You pick your distance and then enjoy a fully-supported long run that fit perfectly in training schedules for Boulder Marathon, the Denver Marathon, Chicago, and other fall full- and half-marathons.  Races are held at 7am at Westminster City Park.   Prizes are awarded to the top 3 male and top 3 female finishers in the 20 mile race.  Finishers of all three races, either distance, will receive a nice bonus gift!  Our 2010 race dates:

Terrain

The course is a 10 mile out-and-back loop consisting of 60% hard-packed dirt and 40% concrete, with occasional mild hills.  We’ve clearly marked the course, and mile markers will help you gauge your time.  You’ll find aid stations with water, electrolyte drinks, and energy bars or gels at the start, 2.5 mile point, and 5M turnaround, and we’ll have post-race food, drinks, and awards when you’re done.
