RMRR is going to Celebrate 50! The logo above was chosen to represent the club for our 50th anniversary in 2009. Look for the logo to appear on limited edition promotional items later this year, at the 50th anniversary events next year and in the 2009 marketing materials.

The board is looking for help planning the 50th anniversary. If you are interested in getting involved, please send a note to rmrr@rmrr.org. Thanks!

RMRR member Eric Greene competed in the 2008 Ironman Coeur d’Alene, finishing in time of 11:38:56. Click here for a brief report of the event.

RMRR member Mike Blanchard won the National Masters 15K Racewalking Championship on May 18th in Riverside, California. Mike finished with a time of 1:24:40. Mike also finished second overall and first in the 45-49 age group in the National Masters 20K Racewalking Championships, which was held April 27th in Orlando, Florida.

Here is Mike with his medals and trophy from the 15k championship standing with Marianne Martino, the winner of the women’s division.
