Where it is
Denver
Description
The most accessible running path to downtown is the Cherry Creek Trail which starts in the Northwest corner of downtown (Confluence Park, which connects to the Platte River Trail), runs all the way down to Cherry Creek State Park, near Englewood, which is Southeast of Denver and continues south to Parker. This path is devoid of almost all traffic intersections, which makes for much safer running downtown. After leaving downtown, the path passes several parks and the Cherry Creek shopping district. This is a paved path.
