Interested in getting faster? Of course you are. One of the best ways to feed your need for speed is to attend the Rocky Mountain Road Runners track workouts on Wednesdays at Heritage High School in Littleton. The workouts are organized and led by RMRR members Scott Kukel and Mike Quispe. The 2009 track workouts begin April 1; the workouts will begin at 6:30, but be sure to get there a little early to warm up. Check here for the 2009 schedule. All are welcome — the workouts are designed for runners of all abilities. See you there!
The December Trophy Series race at Wash Park was the final race of the year, and we can now announce the winners of the 2008 Rocky Mountain Road Runners Trophy Series! Below the fold you will find the year-end results for Runners, Walkers, Scatch (non-handicap) men and women, and the Resolute Runner award. We’ve listed the top 5 in each category; the spreadsheets at the links include the complete results. Congratulations to all the winners, and thanks for participating. Remember, the competition for the 2009 trophies begins on January 11th at Twin Lakes park!
