RMRR Makes Marathons Easier

RMRR’s Marathon Training Series provides 10M and 20M races that are low cost, friendly, fully supported, and officially timed.  All you need to do is focus on your running!  Our races fit perfectly in training schedules for Colfax, Boulder Marathon, Rock n’ Roll Denver Marathon, Chicago, and other full and half marathons.

Everyone is welcome at our MTS races:  RMRR members, guests, training team members, everyone!  The course is clearly marked, and mile markers will help you gauge your time.  We’ll time your run and provide results a few days after the race, and winners of each distance will receive ribbons and running store gift certificates.  We make it easy for you to work on your pace, your nutrition and drinking, and getting everything ready for your big race.

Registration Details

Register for all MTS races at RunSignup – RMRR MTS Registrations.  RMRR Members will find their discount automatically applied – it’s easy!

For mail-in registration, download the MTS application and send in with your check.  You’ll also find the application at metro Denver Runners Roost and Boulder Running Company locations.

You can register on race day for $5 more each race.  Please plan to arrive at least 45 minutes early for these races to get signed in and have time to stretch out.  Races will start on time.

  • 20 Mile Combo – all three races

The course is a 5 mile out-and-back segment of trail.  The 10 mile runs this once, the 20 twice.   You’ll find aid stations with water, electrolyte drinks, and energy bars or gels at the start, and roughly every two miles. We’ll have post-race food, drinks, and awards for the top three 20M finishers when you’re done.  No shirts or other race gear – that’s how we keep prices low.

Our MTS series is on the Clear Creek trail traveling northwest from Twin Lakes Park.  The trail is a paved bike path.  The course follows the creek and is basically flat:  tiny bit downhill on the way out and the same uphill on the return.  The only “hills” appear where the trail travels under a street.
